NEET PG Application Form 2024

  • The online registration and application process for NEET PG 2024 will start in January 2024.
  • You can only apply online; there’s no other way.
  • To apply, follow these steps:
    • Fill out an online form to register.
    • Get a user ID and password.
    • Upload a photo, thumb impression, signature, and required documents.
    • Choose where you want to take the exam.
    • Pay the exam fee.
  • Once you’ve filled out everything and submitted the application, make sure to print it. The paper will have a transaction ID on it. Keep this paper safe, you might need it later.
  • If you need to change something, you can do it in the third week of March 2024. But remember, you can’t change your name, email, test city, or nationality.

Application Fee NEET PG 2024

You need to pay the exam fee using a Credit Card or Debit Card from an Indian bank. This is the only way to pay. Don’t try to pay through any other method.

How to Fill NEET PG 2024 Registration/Application Form 

Step 1: Go to the NEET PG website (You’ll find the link above).

Step 2: Make an online account to get a User ID and Password.

Step 3: Log in using your User ID and Password on the application page.

Step 4: Fill in the form with all your info.

Step 5: Put your photo and signature in the right way and upload them.

Step 6: Pay the application fee online using different options they give.

Step 7: After you’ve checked everything, send the form.

Step 8: Print out the form you filled. You might need it later.

NEET PG 2024 Eligibility Criteria For Exam

Before applying for the NEET PG exam, candidates need to know if they meet the eligibility requirements. Here’s what you should know

General Eligibility:

  • Qualification (MD/MS/PG Diploma): You can apply if you have finished your MBBS degree or if you have a provisional MBBS pass certificate from a Medical Council of India (MCI) recognized institute.
  • Attempts: You can try the NEET PG exam as many times as you want. There’s no limit.
  • Internship: You can only apply if you finish a 1-year rotator internship by August 2024.
  • Registration Certificate: You must have a valid registration certificate from the Medical Council of India (MCI), NMC, or any State Medical Council (SMC).

For Foreign Medical Graduates:

  • Nationality: You can be an Indian Citizen or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) to apply.
  • Internship: If you’re a foreign medical graduate, you need to finish your internship by August 11, 2024.
  • FMGE Pass Certificate: If you did your medical degree outside India, you need to pass the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) first.
  • Registration Certificate: After getting the FMGE Pass Certificate, foreign medical graduates must register with MCI/SMC. They need to send a copy of the Registration Certificate to show they’re eligible.

NEET PG Exam Updated Pattern 2024

  • Exam Mode: The exam will be online in CBT mode.
  • Exam Sessions: It will happen in a single session on a single day.
  • Language of Exam: The questions will be in English.
  • Duration of Paper: You’ll have 3 hours 30 minutes to complete the paper.
  • Type of Questions: The questions will be multiple choice.
  • Number of Questions: There will be a total of 200 questions.
  • Marking Scheme: If you answer correctly, you get 4 marks.
  • Negative Marking: If you answer wrong, you lose 1 mark.

NEET PG Exam Syllabus 2024(updated)

The syllabus for NEET 2024 is expected to remain unchanged from the previous syllabus. It encompasses topics from three main sections: Pre-clinical, Para-clinical, and Clinical.

In the Pre-clinical section, the subjects covered for NEET PG 2024 are Biochemistry, Anatomy, and Physiology.

In the Para-clinical section, the topics included for NEET PG 2024 are Microbiology, Pharmacology, Pathology, Social and preventive medicine, Forensic Medicine.

In the Clinical section, the subjects included for NEET PG 2024 are General Medicine (including Dermatology & Venereology & Psychiatry), ENT, General Surgery (including Orthopedics), Anaesthesia & Radiodiagnosis, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Pediatrics, and Ophthalmology.

The NEET 2024 examination format consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and all questions will be derived from the aforementioned topics. There will be a total of 200 questions in the exam, out of which candidates are required to attempt 180 questions. The duration of the NEET 2024 exam will be 3 hours and 30 minutes.

NEET PG Exam Preparation Tips 2024 Year

  • Revise: Set aside the last week just for reviewing.

In 2024, when it’s time for the NEET PG exam, you’ll need something important: the NEET PG Admit Card. This special card will let you enter the exam center and take the test. You won’t need to wait long to get it. Starting from the 2nd week of April 2024, you can download your Admit Card from the official website. It’s an online process, so you just need to visit the website and follow the instructions. But remember, not everyone will get this card. If you’re not eligible to take the exam, you won’t be able to download the Admit Card. So, make sure you fulfill all the requirements before you wait for it.When it’s time to download, they’ll send you a message through Email or SMS. They won’t send any physical cards by email or mail, so you’ll have to download and print it yourself.Keep this card safe once you have it. It’s like your ticket to the exam, and you’ll need it on the exam day.

NEET PG Result 2024

The scores will be shown online in the last week of May 2024. You can get your scorecard from the website using your login details. Remember, this result is only good for this time. You can’t use it for the next time. After they show the scores, they will also tell you your NEET PG rank on the website.

NEET PG Result Cut Off 2024

If you want to get into MD/MS/PG diploma courses, there are some marks you need to get. If you don’t get these marks, you won’t be able to join the courses, and you won’t get any ranking.

For General applicants, you need at least 50% marks. But if you’re from ST/SC/OBC/Reserved PWD category, you can get in with 40% marks. If you’re in the UR-PWD category, you need 45% marks.

NEET PG Exam Counselling 2024

After the NEET PG results come out, they will tell you about the counseling schedule and how it works on the website. To take part in the PG counseling, you need to follow the details you gave during the application.

To get admitted, they will check your eligibility and documents. You have to show all your documents to get a seat in the colleges you’re assigned.

The number of seats for PG courses will follow the rules of the Government of India and the State Governments, if it applies to you. They will provide a handbook with all these details later.

The group in charge of the NEET PG counseling is the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) of DGHS, Govt of India. They will manage counseling for MD/MS/Diploma and PG DNB courses. If you have questions about counseling, you can call these numbers:

NEET PG Exam Test Centre Locations

The address and location of the test centers will be written on your admit card. It’s a good idea to know where your test center is before the exam day. Make sure you find it at least a day before the exam and get there on time.

Required Documents for Test Center

  • Your admit card with a recent photo pasted on it.
  • A photocopy of your Permanent/Provisional SMC/MCI registration (which the test center will keep).
  • A valid, original Government-issued photo ID that you mentioned in your application. You can bring any of these:
    • Aadhaar Card (with your photo)
    • PAN Card
    • Driving License
    • Passport

Remember, bring at least one of these photo IDs that you used in your application form.
